Hawkes Health has years of field experience in providing auditing and consultancy water management services with a long history in supporting industries concerning potable water management.

All our certified Occupational Hygienists are highly experienced and qualified potable water field operatives.
Our Legionella Risk Assessments are site-specific and provide a holistic and exhaustive view of your water system offering realistic and SMART solutions to reduce any identified risk to as low as practicable.
This in-depth assessment is carried out in accordance with the BS8580 2010 Water Quality Risk Assessments for Legionella Control – Code of Practice (ACoP).
Our experienced Occupational Hygienists can operate across a multitude of industries and sites, including vessels, offshore platforms and floating production, storage, offloading units, hospitals, hotels, factories and local authority housing.
Hawkes Health offer Legionella sampling taken in accordance with BS7592:2008, Code of Practice – Sampling for Legionella Bacteria in Water Systems. All samples are tested at a partner network of UKAS-accredited laboratories. This includes testing for chemicals, E. coli, coliforms and pseudomonas.
Our tank inspection support is designed to equip duty holders with maximum awareness as to the condition of your potable water storage tanks. This offers the best possible chance of detecting and remedying evidence of contamination, biofilm deposits, corrosion formation and the growth of Legionella.
Utilising one of our small ROV units removes the need for time-consuming draining and refilling of water tanks, and can ensure that tanks are back in service within a working day.
If evidence of corrosion or bacteria is detected, we will recommend the necessary remedial steps to be taken, including cleaning, patch recoating or a complete tank refurbishment.
Hawkes Health can assist you with disinfection methods of your potable water sources, including chemical or thermal or sometimes both. Where needed, instruction can be provided on commissioning new sites or pipework.
Working with us as your disinfection advisor will give you peace of mind that the process is completed as quickly as possible.
In addition to this service, we offer management support and training to help ensure your processes are up-to-date, practical and reflect good practice.
